In today's highly networked world, software security is considered one of the most important quality characteristics of modern software applications. To ensure a high level of security, the "security by design" paradigm has established itself as a key cornerstone in software development. This paradigm propagates the inclusion of security as early as possible in the software development process, i.e. as early as the analysis and design of a software solution. Accordingly, effective methods are needed to support architects and other experts in modeling secure software systems and in analyzing and evaluating security in software design.
This working group is intended to bring together researchers and experts from industry in the cross-cutting topic of software architectures and software security and offer them a platform for joint exchange and collaborative work.
